I feel like it’s all part of this widespread tendency to see no benefit in (or possibility of?) a better (or even viable?) world, so rather than try for that and be a ~weak loser~ for ~no reason~, they just go on a feeding frenzy for personal power before someone else gets to their scraps first?

we're out here paypaling and GFMing the last $25 we have back and forth to infinity while slogging through a labyrinth of ridiculous injustice, and they are freaking out because someone suggested they should have more money than they could spend in 2999 lifetimes instead of 3005 lifetimes.

So many people still want to help each other, but the infrastructures for leveraging that desire into larger-scale good have all been hijacked or destroyed. IDK if it’s possible to create alternatives, tho we may have to try. But just pretending randos will fill in 4 govt spontaneously is … nothing.

One aspect is that the Republican media is 100% Republican while the Democrat media reports both sides, so it is 50-50, meaning that cumulatively the Republicans get 75% and Democrats 25% at best.
