I love the Sega Saturn for all sorts of sentimental and historic reasons, but the PS1 is my favorite console of all time.

It channeled the NES’s “everyone wanted to get something, ANYTHING out for it” mojo while also coming at a transformative moment in gaming, resource & content-wise.

Mentioned this before but she has moderate “wobbly cat syndrome” which is a motor skills issue probably caused by pre-natal exposure to the distemper vaccine.

What I find frustrating it how the inking makes it difficult to tell which iffy bits are Perez developing a style and which are due to the inking.

I've been re-reading George Perez's Avengers work.

While I get Vince Coletta's role in Marvel's creative ecosystem, his inking was kind of shit and it's a shame that Perez's formative work was mutilated by it.

Though it's thematically fitting considering how often he got stuck with bad inkers.
