I remind myself that our job now is to figure out how we protect those wins and reinforce that culture shift and absolutely fucking refuse to tolerate a backslide in our circles, in our communities.

We obstruct regression not just in government, but culturally. On a granular level.

What I keep reminding myself of is, this is happening because the scales really were shifting.

Things we dreamed about-- trans acceptance, popular labor organizing movements among the young, a cultural if not concrete reckoning on cops-- were starting to happen.

I really enjoyed the audiobook version of Black Pill by @ellereeve.bsky.social. She reads it herself which is *chef's kiss*
It's a combo of good journalism on a tough topic and a look at how the dark corners of the internet can pervade general society. Highly recommend.
