It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

To me, this is one of the biggest "feel good -- give me hope" stories of 2025. And I don't think it's gotten near the media coverage and universal accolades that it deserves.

Good on you, New Mexico. Let's the rest of us. follow your example.

Friends, it's important we step back from the daily chaos and headlines which make us feel hopeless. We need some context.

How can we get out of this mess? -- I believe these (relatively) short readings are worth your time and may give you a new perspective.

Republicans just voted to let ACA subsidies expire, forcing millions to choose between groceries or healthcare. This is shameful!

Families can’t survive on a $1,500 HSA coupon. We need real, lasting solutions to rising healthcare costs, NOT political stunts. Voters won’t forget! seiu.co/4iQUNaN

This morning I'm reminded of this quote from Frances Ellen Watkins Harper in 1866:

"We are all bound up together in one great bundle of humanity, and society cannot trample on the weakest and feeblest of its members without receiving the curse in its own soul".

This is the President of the United States. Every journalist, pundit, politician and talking head who minimized Trump’s racism, who asked “but is he racist?,”and who minimized the racism of his followers should apologize to this country TODAY.
Well, I’m gonna insist that you listen to this.

Definition of terms:

“these people” = Latino migrants

“Inner city people” = Black people

“We tried to get them [inner city people] to do it” = slavery & sharecropping
Trump on undocumented farm workers: "People that live in the inner city are not doing that work. They've tried, we've tried, everybody tried. They don't do it. These people do it naturally. Naturally ... they don't get a bad back, because if they get a bad back, they die."

Born and raised in Los Angeles County, David Huerta is a champion for justice and a good neighbor. Today, while advocating for his community during an ICE raid, he was injured and arrested. These raids are dangerous for our families and communities. They are unjust and must end.
Let’s be clear: ICE injured and detained the president of SEIU California for peacefully observing.

ICE picked the wrong side. The wrong state. The wrong person. and the wrong union. David Huerta stood up. And now 750,000 SEIU workers are standing up behind him.
