An updated ref sheet for my main OC, Lexi.
An updated character reference sheet for my primary OC, Lexi, featuring some changes since the last update. I'm rather happy with this design as a new baseline for the time being. To start, her full name is now Alejandra Ximena Vasquez, changed from Alexis Velasquez. Why the change? Idk, I just kinda like it better. Also, she's now vaguely 27 years old instead of 26, so yeah she managed to grow another year older over the last like... Idk, 2 years or so Imao. Idk, she's somewhere in her late twenties at least. This current design doesn't have the jacket she wore in her previous ref sheet, but I'm working on updating the design, so hopefully I can update it some time soon enough. Gonna also try to finalize some alternate outfits for this new base.

Here are some of my favorite drawings from this year~
Full color digital art illustration with a detailed background (actually a comic page) from my Out of Memory webcomic. It is a dark fantasy and horror comic (with a tiny slice of sci-fi) about a pacifistic warrior and his journey to find the truth about his family. The drawing depicts the morally ambiguous character "Yaoshe Baiqiao" (aka. "Yao") sitting leisurely in a traditional Chinese-style room. He is an influential politician and schemer who appears to be allied with the main protagonist. He is an elegant bishie (pretty boy) who appears to be in his late twenties or early thirties, with long, curly medium purple hair that extends past his shoulders and pink eyes with white pupils. He is wearing an elaborate red and purple outfit that resembles traditional Chinese hanfu and is holding a pipe that is shaped like a serpent's head in his right hand. Yao’s outfit is extremely expensive and is decorated with a good amount of gold and gemstones. His boots and sash are especially elaborate and have large, teardrop-shaped rubies embedded in them. I believe that if we want more than half-a-dozen transfem authors, and we do, then selfpub is extremely important. The variety and breadth of the indie sector is vital, especially in these (spoiler) bad times.

And, hopefully obviously, I'm not critising the other shortlistees for being tradpub!

Looks to be human for the most part and has while eyes with fully white irises, no pupils.
