It is always right and just to loathe anthropologists, we're a wretched class of know-it-alls who refuse to take people at their word in favour of our own pet theories.

Muxes identify with lo femenino or
what is feminine and many dress in traditional female attire, but they are not gen-
erally seeking to be transgender, or to be accepted as women.

The gay men I interviewed were even more emphatic and quick to differentiate
themselves from muxes. Mario, an articulate twenty-four-year-old gay man, for
example, said that
For me a muxe is a man who identifies as a woman and likes to dress like a woman. I
am not muxe. I am gay because I have never wanted to dress like a woman or to be one.
They work in female trades. I know I am a man.

I read The Princess and, well, a prince (and his friends) dress as women, and join a women's university. They are very impressed by the learning (and the other girls, by the imposter's height) but the prince is clocked on account of insufficient voice training...

I've had this pose for Hades (The Hades Calculus) in mind for a while, but it never materialized quite as clearly until last night. A goddess so somber as the lord of the machine dead should stand as a statue, a monolith, so that even the cracks on her facade may speak more of power than frailty.

Mentioned this a while back, but I've come into possession of a bunch of Vogue and Good Housekeeping magazines from the 60s onward, which don't seem to be archived anywhere.

Does anyone know of any ways to digitize these quickly? I'm willing to scan these by hand, but I bet there's a quicker way.

I know that since becoming disabled, my personal amount of plastic waste has gone up. Sorry! It was definitely a bad idea to become disabled; very thoughtless of me.
But some might say that I am not more to blame than the massive corporations that pollute everything just to make the line go up.
