I am at a loss over Grump making DEI the new bogeyman. The coded message is black, brown, female, lgbtq+, handicapped, etc. are less meritorious then white men. The effect is to elevate white male mediocrity and reverse the pursuit of a multiethnic democratic society. If this stands, we are doomed.

The administration believes that they can overwhelm the justice system with suits against them, and that they only need to win a few of the challenges to reengineer the constitutional order.
