Thanks to the day off, I finally finished “The Dragon Republic” by R.F. Kuang. I can see why this series was recommended! Loving the politics behind her war, not just the action.

Anyone else read this one? My immediate circle had never heard of this series, so I must discuss.

Finished “Dune: Messiah”

Slow burn, but great book. Absolutely loved the political intrigue. Really curious how the movie that’s in development will pull this one off.

Is it worth diving into the next book? I hear they get…weird.

BotW is, IMHO, one of the greatest games ever made. TotK was fantastic, and the story is stronger, but BotW clicked more with me.

If you’ve got kids,“The Knight Owl” and “The Knight Owl and Early Bird” by Christopher Denise are some of the most adorable kids books out there. Top-notch illustrations from the author as well. Highly recommend.
