Oh man, this hits so hard. Vince was one of the only people at EA upper management who actually had vision and from what it sounds like, really cared about his teams. This sucks.

The only people playing black ops 7 are the ones who are complete savages at COD, kind of like when you hop into a game of Halo 2 and the only people playing are the ones who have been playing for 20 years. There’s no mainstream audience for BLOPS7. It’s wild

Wake Up Dead Man is really really good. At first I thought they cut a little too close to the bone and stripped it down too much, but in the end it all came together marvelously

I think Rivian’s use of AI is actually kind of cool, but I worry that it’s still going to fall into the same pitfalls that GenAI is, namely how much power it uses and whether or not the data it’s using is provided specifically for their use or if it’s just scraping random data.

I can’t explain why, but something about Vince Gilligan reminds me so much of Lynch. I think it’s how he juxtaposes very mundane things with almost surreal happenings, or blends comedy so well with human drama and borderline horror. I know he’s not a “dreamy” type creator but his work…

It took me almost an hour to launch Arc Raiders between patches, the game not launching, restarting my pc and load times. This is why I just hate pc gaming overall. It’s always a slog to get a game launched and going and by the time I do, I’m not in the mood to play anymore
