This panel from the book "The Dragonslayer" in the Bone series (one of my favorite graphic novel series), perfectly sums up my point. Running away from problems will only bring more suffering down the line. The only proper recourse is to face the problems and fight them in any way possible.

Finally there's an actual reason to dislike this prick rather than them being a dumbass who thinks their random crayoning of maps are legitimate workable plans for railroading, such as the nuking of the cafe car and sending trains at 60mph down the Bridgeport curve on the NEC
