It’s not that autistic people don’t know how to join a conversation.

It’s that people stop listening the moment we do.

We become background noise in our own lives.

Until someone else repeats what we've said - louder, safer, non-autistic.

Then it's "brilliant".

You don’t need another productivity hack.

You need language for why everything feels like too much and not enough at once.

My AuDHD Workshop is a 5-week journey to explore and embrace your contradictions

You just realised you’re autistic.

Everything suddenly makes sense - and nothing does.

My 5-week workshop is for newly identified autistic adults who want to understand their needs, unmask safely,

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

Autistic humans speak.

We say what we mean.

Clearly.

And still - people don’t hear us.

Not because we’re quiet.

But because they only listen for a tone that sounds like them.

So we get quieter.

Not out of shyness.

Out of exhaustion.

Out of apathy.
theautisticcoach.bsky.social
Autistic burnout isn’t failure.

It’s exhaustion from surviving too long in a world that won’t bend.

If you’re in your 20s or 30s and want to talk about it with others who get it - I’m running a free discussion group.

We trauma dump.

We demand care.

We mistake shared identity for consent.

But that’s not community care.

That’s reenacting the harm.

Safety isn’t built through collapse.

It’s built through boundaries.
theautisticcoach.bsky.social
Many autistic people were trained to be everyone’s emotional sponge.

The listener.

The fixer.

The one who holds everyone else together.

So when we finally find other autistic people - we sometimes repeat the pattern.

You weren’t lazy.

You were exhausted.

You weren’t unmotivated.

You were in burnout.

You weren’t “too sensitive".

You were under-supported.

Now you’re rebuilding.

At your own pace.

And that’s beautiful.

That's the autistic experience.
theautisticcoach.bsky.social
You’ve spent decades adapting.

Performing.

Surviving.

Now you finally know why - do you do with that truth?

Performance is not connection.

Relationships only can exist in truth.
theautisticcoach.bsky.social
It’s one thing to learn you’re autistic.

It’s another to live it.

If you’ve known for years but never had space to process it, my 5-week autistic-led workshop is that space.

No fixing.

No performance.

Just returning to yourself.

You experience meltdowns and shutdowns all the time.

You may be in autistic burnout as you read this.

But do you know what *they are*? How to manage them with *grace*?

Come join me at my upcoming virtual live workshop!

Most autistic people think they’re “getting worse”.

You’re not.

You’re burning out - from masking, overthinking, and trying to earn safety in a system that withholds it.

You can recover.

But only by learning how to stop negotiating with a world that keeps asking for your disappearance.
theautisticcoach.bsky.social
Being autistic often feels like standing in a room and slowly fading out.

You speak - and nothing lands.

People nod at others.

Never you.

They don’t hear you.

Literally.

It’s not misunderstanding.

It’s hierarchy.

They decided we weren’t important.
