Of course it won't. And it will cause great harm to the most vulneralble - the isolated, marginalised or abused kids who don't have other opportunities to find their people.

Could we just stop telling people how to do their gender altogether, and stop linking gender to character traits?

That would be great, thanks.

Back in the 80s, soy milk tasted like a mouse cage. It's improved incredibly since then, but there's still applications where cow's milk is just better.

I love hard tofu, but the texture of softer tofu is really unpleasant to me; it's like egg gone horribly wrong, something never meant to be food.

I also am very interested in the soup. Chance of a recipe?

just so long as you limp the same on both sides, it's fine

And besides, the entire fucking point of parenting is teaching them to do dangerous things safely. Support and supervision gradually tapering off until they don't need it any more.

Not a total lack of experience or guidance followed by boom good luck kid.

Now that would be a chaotic blessing: inability to form long-term memories of eating toast.

Imagine if every time you tried it, it was all brand new to you.

christianity is just the beauty-industry business model: show people a shopped-to-hell unattainable model of 'perfection', declare normal and ubiquitous features to be dire flaws, sell them a remedy that necessarily falls short, now they're dependent *and* need to buy the next thing as well.

Forbes is just a shitty AI clickbait site these days, no more credible than the NY Post.

ooh, my mistake - it's actually dates, not molasses.
December 8, 2025 at 5:18 AM
May I suggest my recent favourite: peanut butter and gherkin (what US types would call pickles...)

It's way better than it has any right to be, and also survives way better than cheese in warm conditions.
December 8, 2025 at 5:12 AM
Not pickles; pickle.

Specifically Branston Pickle, which is what you'd call a relish - something almost like a barbecue sauce, molasses-and-vinegar based, with chunks of unknown semi-crunchy vegetable in it.
