The people in the world that annoy me the most are those who say replacing parking lots and single family homes will raise the rent for everyone. Like how? Theres typically only 1-2 families that lives in them, if that nowadays, and its replaces with a multi family home or even an apartment.

While newer lights in cities like NYC, do use the right most option, the factor of light color also comes into play.
The more red something is tinted, the less strain it gives your eyes and lets you see further in the dark.

Amazing work for California! LA will definitely have the biggest impact with all the transit expansion they’ve been doing these past few years! So this will only be more impactful in the coming years :)

Amazing work for California! LA will definitely have the biggest impact with all the transit expansion they’ve been doing these past few years! So this will only be more impactful in the coming years :)

I really do wonder how long it will take for the renting market to stabilize in big cities like NYC, LA, Chicago. Right now, we're seeing a huge rise in renting costs throughout the country in really desirable cities.

These past 2 months have been exciting for trains, last month the MTA announced new commuter trains sets and the R211 trains going on the B line. This month Pennsylvania is discussing filling the financial transit hole, and the Acelas are coming at the end of the month.

I just remembered that someone blocked me on here cuz I asked why they called Grok a Nazi. (For context, I’m completely off Twitter and the only places I get updates on Grok is AI statistics, Republicans getting disproven clips on TikTok, and whatever replies are screenshotted here)

I really dislike how parts of NYC are built out. Like why haven’t these abandoned lots been converted to mixed used buildings? There’s this one lot that finally has construction going on after 3 years of nothing.
