I've gotten so used to reading ebooks, I forgot that to read physical books you need light so you can see

The first time I watched Hot Fuzz the power went out during this scene (and didn't come back on till the morning), which really added to the "suddenly horror" vibes

Dunno if you've tried it yet, but you can warm the lino to make it softer and easier to carve as well

Haha that's exactly it, I went back a bit to check I hadn't just missed something super obvious somehow. But no, the book just does an amazing job of having all the information there but never giving you reason to look for it
