So we are going to bring forth a world where anyone who wants to be a lone wolf is welcome to walk into the woods without a single damn thing a global community made for him, and perish howling at the moon.

The rest of us will live in a society.

We are a social species, and we have always prevailed through cooperation. Caring for our sick. Raising children we didn't sire or birth because they were part of our village or extended family. We are not breeders and predators, we are communicators and survivors. We evolved to UNITE.

I am tired of scrolling through YouTube shorts and seeing beefy conspiratorial clowns declare cooked food and vaccines and the very presence of a foreign person to be anathema to their delusional vision of a perfect, homogenous, walled-off society.

We did not evolve to be ALPHA CHADS, actually.

The modern conservative panic is fueled by juvenile tantrums, of people clinging to hierarchies until their fingernails are bloody because they're too contemptuous towards undesirables and offal acquiring even a shred of humanity and dignity.

But it's inevitable, and the clock will not turn back.

We are going Super Social Justice Blue Hair and Pronouns. We are calling things "gay" and "queer" as compliments and honorifics. We are proudly being buzzkills and harpies and feminine and vegan and giving a sincere fucking shit about the environment and climate and well-being of the community.
