Stop with the weak question phrasing. This should be, "The administration is required by the constitution to obtain congressional approval for land strikes. Has that happened yet and if not, when will it happen?"
Q: Does the administration need to go to Congress to conduct land strikes in Venezuela?

RUBIO: I'm not gonna speculate about things that haven't happened and may never happen. To this point, nothing has happened that requires us to notify Congress

"We're going to be releasing that plan in about two weeks!"

They've had a YEAR and they're still telling us it's another 6 months away? This happening is about as likely as us getting those tariff rebate checks.
Lutnick: "Look for the second quarter of 2026 to be amazing"

Billions? How many multi-millionaires exist in the world that want, but are not currently able, to establish residency within the U.S.? You would have to have more than 1,000 to get to $1 billion. I don't see us getting to that number, especially not every year.
Trump says the Gold Card proceeds will go "an account where we can do things positive for the country. Many billions of dollars"

"You'll see the effects next year," is the new "We'll be releasing that in about 2 weeks."
Brooke Rollins: "These deals are real. No one in the history of our country has ever been able to effectuate deals like this. We won't see the effect until next year."

Because what really makes flying a pleasant experience isn't more legroom and better service, it's dudebros with workout BO manspreading in the middle seat of a long flight next to yo u. Tell me you don't fly commercial without saying you don't fly commercial.
Duffy on what he's doing to improve the airport experience for travelers: "Maybe I want a workout area where people might get some blood flowing doing some pull ups or step ups in the airport."

This administration is hellbent on undoing decades of hard-fought progress made on protecting the environment and advancing emissions technology. All while congress sits idly by shirking their responsibility.
Trump: "We're also gonna give the tractor companies, John Deere and all of the companies that make the equipment, we're gonna take off a lot of the environmental restrictions that they have on machinery. It's ridiculous. I know b/c I buy a lot of that machinery... it's not as good as the old days."

Error or subtle resistance from the staff?
Pete Hegseth's nameplate during today's cabinet meeting featured an unfortunate error.

If it was "preventative" and it was "perfect" like he claims, then he should have no problem releasing it right? Kind of like his tax returns...
Leavitt claims that Trump had a "preventative" MRI

Here's the thing, as long as the airlines keep making flights more and more uncomfortable, I'm going to wear comfortable clothes. If I have to cram into a narrow seat, with no cushioning and even less leg room, I'll wear whatever I want.
Sean Duffy: "Dressing with respect -- whether it's a pair of jeans and a decent shirt, I would encourage people to maybe dress a little better which encourages us to maybe behave a little better. Let's try not to wear slippers and pajamas as we come to the airport."

You know these people don't deal with insurance because this is already what people do. When given the choice, they choose an "in-network" provider because it's cheaper. Those rates are negotiated by the insurance companies so they're cheaper for them too.
Cassidy: "If she goes and gets 2 types of shampoo & one is a dollar cheaper, she'll get the cheaper one & the other lowers their price. Once you give her the power of making the decision, she's gonna shop -- that begins to save her money and squeezes waste out of the healthcare system."

I don't WANT to negotiate my own insurance. I don't have time for that. I already spend too much time dealing with insurance, now you want me to spend MORE time every year haggling for the best rate? This system is so dumb. Give us single-payer now!
Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

Why is his design taste stuck in "this is what rich peoples' homes look like circa 1980" mode?
the tone deafness is beyond parody

This is just insane. There's zero chance this actually happened and yet half of the country will just accept this as gospel. I'll never understand the people who accept and enable this man to continue embarrassing the country.
Trump: "The person who actually got the Nobel Prize called today, called me, and said 'I'm accepting this in honor of you, because you really deserved it.' A really nice thing to do. I didn't say 'Then give it to me, though.'"

You know that old story about the guy caught in a flood and praying for God to save him while turning down rides from a boat and a helicopter - only to die - then have God tell him he sent a boat and a helicopter? That guy is Republicans with gun control. The answer is right in front of you.
Karoline Leavitt: "I saw the comments of Ms. Psaki and frankly I think they're incredibly insensitive and disrespectful to the tens of millions of Americans of faith across this country who believe in the power of prayer, who believe that prayer works."

Montana Senator Steve Daines is so sure of his plan to sell off public lands that he included… (checks notes) zero acres in his home state knowing how unpopular the idea is and that it could cost him his Senate seat.

ICE is the new KGB at this point. What are we even doing? Congress must act now to restore order to our nation and put a stop to Trump’s authoritarian dreams.

How is RFK Jr.’s planned autism registry not a giant HIPPAA violation? I know I don’t consent to him seeing my or my kid’s health records and diagnoses. So if he accesses it, or a provider hands it over, are they not violating my privacy rights?
