I am sure you’re probably right, especially as long as they’re actively supporting switch 1. As I just threw out about 4 controllers for it, they may never need to stop making them.

Anytime I read social media posts getting upset about the flip of the calendar and I presume world politics in this case, it seems too pessimistic to me.
