I occasionally try and grapple with world politics, but ultimately it’s just too big for me. So I deal with the world on as much as I can, a regional basis, starting at home and working as much as I can to the national level. And even that mucks with my joy more than I care for.

Maybe it’s because I grew up with PS1 and N64 cutscenes, but I have virtually never thought this was worth complaining about.
Its gotten so much worse though. Compare what s4 looked like to s5. Shocking stuff

People who don’t need cpap machines in their 30’s don’t understand why us who need them in their 30’s would be resistant to being put on oxygen like an old dying person every night they had to sleep.

If in some world I had grown up with less adhd or more focus, I possibly may have been a teacher. And I would have been a pedant of an English teacher.
That did not happen. I am no skilled English major, and the world is better for me to be average or above.

Why didn’t they use it
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time contains an unused enemy called the Scoot Bloop, a Blooper whimsically wearing shoes. It has two attacks: a regular one and a "do nothing forever" attack where it just freezes in place and refuses to end its turn, trapping the player indefinitely.

One of the interesting aspects of parenting a 3 year old is how they sometimes withhold information kinda just because they don’t get what you want. “Why did you come crawl into bed with us last night?”
“I just did.”
“Why.”

If the hard mode repopulates defeated monsters after a few days like the older games, then it might be worth replaying for me. Really though what I need is for Bingo Battle to return since Dandori multiplayer is too focused on out-optimizing than out-witting your opponent.
