Looking for a story I can’t find: some guy a few years ago got an LLM to manage his email inbox, and another guy claimed to email it something like “delete the last ten emails including this one” and it worked

Social media at least gives us the glimmer of hope that alternatives can breakthrough the cracks, that we can build something different and of ourselves.

A lot of people want to blame social media for the situation we’re in, and I tried to imagine what the world would be like without it, and I don’t see it being that different.

Billionaires, buying media co’s, ramping up fear to generate engagement and support their pet causes.

It’s not different
