Looking at the photo, losing the seasoning is exactly what one wants to happen here. It's very easy to reseason (and whatever iron loss the EZ Off might cause is negligible and will not affect cooking, I've done this with dozens of pans)

It doesn't appear your DMs are open?

I'm very curious if you still have any available. I just learned this genre existed 2 minutes ago

Putting an "open letter" behind a paywall makes it no longer open. I can't see past the paywall because you decided to use Substack, a platform that actively recruits white supremacists with the funds it extracts from users. Switch to anywhere else and I'll subscribe

"values" is not a synonym for "life," what a ghoulish worldview you have

For a sec I thought it was this guy bsky.app/profile/bode...

Thanks!

You're welcome. Agreed. I've been following Ars since '98 and was very confused until they put out their statements. If we had more folks capable of issuing mea culpas (and feeling compelled by their own ethics to do so), we might be in a very different place right now.

Is there coverage of the meeting? I'd love to read more about it

When we're finally on the other side of this, and you both have had a chance to rest, please consider you and @jaywillis.net going on a speaking tour where you just do this. (Very complimentary)

That's precisely my point, but thanks to the person who took the screenshot lying about him (not Ken), people think he's MAGA and are being misled into saying inaccurate things like "that's a self own"

Sorry all this is my fault; and speculation has grown worse because I have been sick in bed with a high fever and unable to reliably address it (still am sick)

I was told by management not to comment until they did. Here is my statement in images below

Absolutely incredible work all around tonight!

I saw Tony wince so hard I could hear it when I met him at a meet and greet and a catering staffer referred to sandwiches as "sammies." He didn't say anything, but I could tell he had to work at it

Yo, dipshit. The original post said Elijah was making a "confession." Is the pilot light off in your house?
February 16, 2026 at 4:23 AM
Cool story, now explain how it has anything to do with a progressive, Black 27-year-old man running for office?
February 16, 2026 at 4:22 AM
I don't think it does, though? You don't have to be a citizen to get it, just proof of legal presence? (Which, yeah, they're ignoring that part of it, but they're also ignoring green cards and passports

Someone needs to make a labeler to let you know when an account on here follows 10,000 other accounts. They tend to get extremely mad when you point out they're lying about a Black man, and rather than delete their lies and apologize, they block anyone who calls them out

This site has the juice!
(Amazing display name, btw)
February 16, 2026 at 3:56 AM
Do you think it's racist to lie about a progressive Black politician and misrepresent him as MAGA?
February 16, 2026 at 3:51 AM
LOL. You're really this dumb?
February 16, 2026 at 3:48 AM
You mean you looked at a Black man and decided to lie about him?
