It's almost a familiar storyline by now.
1. An "egregious" violation of a students' rights by a teacher.
2. It turns out to be run of the mill bad work by the student.
3. It turns out to have been provoked or amplified by a huge network of right wingers.

The people currently in power who keep capitulating to fascists do not realize that eventually there will be no one else to throw under the bus. Looking like the people terrorizing others won't protect you from them when there are no others left.

I don't know too much about sports, but I will tell you that the loss of trans people from academics is going to **** America up. If you do not have empathy, at least let your self-preservation kick in and hold the line now.
