Rise of the Zilart finished. This was incredibly short but I really enjoyed the worldbuilding and lore. I wish Kam'lanaut and Eald'narche had been more fleshed out. Some pacing problems again, I think.
I hear that Chains of Promathia is where FFXI's storytelling really takes off so i'm excited.

Finished the San d'Oria missions this morning, leaving only Bastok to go.
Overall I found it a less consistent experience than Windurst, however, the final few ranks of the story and it's reveals were excellent.
I found this last quote very poignant, not just for San D'oria, but FFXI as a whole.

Finished the Windurst Missions tonight. Really enjoyed the overall plot. I kinda wish that the Shadow Lord didn't have to interrupt it partway through.
Total playtime in FFXI so far is 90hrs.
Two more nations to go. San d'Oria next i think? I hope the bagpipes don't drive me crazy.
