I don't understand why we aren't seeing more about Sacha Riley. Maybe he is an attention seeking fraud, but if he his, he is offering specific statements of fact that can be verified. Also, it is not if the media doesn't routinely report the rantings of attention seeking frauds cough <Trump> cough

The legacy media, either by intent or indifference, come to function as a laundering operation for Trump's lunatic ravings and thus have become complicit in the destruction of our democracy. Reps in congress are, of course, venal cowards, but, sadly, many in the Dem leadership are not far from this.

I'm sick of hearing about conservatives who have "concerns" about Trump, but who are only willing to express them privately and, often, anonymously. This is just cowardice at best. At worst, it is a calculated attempt to have it both ways

IOW, Dems need to learn to start treating the main stream media (especially broadcast media) like Reps have been doing for decades. They need to go in prepared to strike an adversarial posture and still be civil. It's possible, but they need to go in with that mindset.

I wish he would preceded his response by saying something like, "Don't you think that question is a bit patronizing? I mean, we know CBS has now bent the knee to Trump, but is that really necessary? But, to answer question directly..."

I sympathize, but what did they expect would happen after Bezos openly and willingly submitted to his blackmail for the sake of mammon? Democracy _does_ die in darkness. Unfortunately for the legit journos still working there, the WAPO publisher has now aligned them with that darkness.
