Sunset at the beach. The ocean water is calm and smooth, and there is a sailboat on the horizon. The sky above the water is a very nice color gradient that starts with a dark blue band immediately transitioning to orange, then fading as you look upward

Yet another another sunset photo. There are nice colors from yellow on the bottom of the sky, to a deep orange as the clouds start, transitioning finally to pink and blues at the top of the frame. In the foreground and background are some silhouetted FL trees (pine, palms, etc)

FWC on patrol in an obscenely fast pontoon. Those are three (3!) Mercury outboard 350s! You won’t be outrunning them, so just bring your ruler or measuring tape and keep it legal. #boat #fwc
At one of my favorite local parks (and fishing spot), looking out towards the intracoastal waterway. The railing made of wood with steel cables as “bars” cuts the frame in half horizontally, and just above it, an FWC (Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission) pontoon boat with triple outboards (350s I believe) slowly cruises by in the no wake zone. There are roughly four officers on board, so you better hope you aren’t keeping any fish you shouldn’t be! The water is mostly calm and dark blue. The sky above is mostly cloudy, but you can see some blue, and the rich people island is visible in the background.

A nice Florida sunset lights up lots of long thin clouds in colors from orange to pink in bright streaks across the sky. Some palm trees are silhouetted in front of the nice colors. A parking lot and intersection are visible in the foreground, but ignore that, because wow that sky is insane.

Went to Juno Beach today, but not for fishing from the pier this time. Just a regular beach visit
Calm aquamarine ocean water washing lightly onto the shore. A long fishing pier juts out into the ocean in the left side, and some heads are seen bobbing in the water on the right side Same as the last photo, but looking slightly to the right. Less of the pier is visible, but more heads are visible. You can also see more of the beach sand in the foreground A zoomed in view from the same spot focused on the fishing pier. Several fisherman can be seen with lines in the water A view of some tall coconut palms standing over the walkway to the pier that leads from the parking lot. The beach is not visible due to the height of the dunes, but the sky is a very clear blue with just a few light whisky clouds in it

Harbor again, getting work done somewhere other than the home office (yesterday)
A photo of the harbor, as seen from a table under an umbrella. Lots of boats are visible, including dinghies, sport fishing yachts, sailboats, and more, and the rain hasn’t rolled in yet, so only white clouds are visible in the blue sky. The water is a deep dark blue, as it’s relatively deep here, and it’s choppy, since the wind is blowing pretty steadily. Some people can be seen sitting in chairs in the sun.

Some leaves on a very cool plant
I _think_ this plant has been properly identified, as the result looks very similar to this one; if so, it’s a polka dot plant (Hypoestes phyllostachya). It has green leaves with pink spots all over them. The spots almost look like they are paint splatter. It is a very cool plant.

A large, ripe, dark purple eggplant hanging in the garden. The background is mostly other branches and leaves from the eggplant’s uh… plant, and only the eggplant in the center of the frame and the nearest leaves are in focus. The rest is blurred slightly

The sandbar today was very nice
A sandbar is visible beyond the very shallow water. The sky is blue with just wispy clouds through most of it, and a line of fluffy white cumulus clouds is visible along the horizon. You can see the mainland in the distance as well. Approaching the sandbar. The green colored water is starting to change color as it gets shallower and the sand at the bottom becomes more visible The water is always greenest at the inlet. A view between the two barrier islands out to the ocean. The very green water is almost entirely salt water here.

St. Patrick’s Cathedral at night, but probably not the one you’re thinking of. This is the one next to Rockefeller Center.

Empire State Building at night. This time in yellow
The lit up top portion of the Empire State Building, zoomed in. It’s lit in a bright yellow color on this night. The building has three (arguably four?) visible “tiers” in this photo, each one getting smaller on the way up, with a spire at the very top. The spire houses at least one antenna I believe.
