One of my biggest pet peeves. In the middle of making plans & the other person goes afk and meanwhile you're not sure whether you have plans or not and you're just in this state of uncertainty & the clock is ticking & you just need them to put a bow on the convo but you also understand they're busy

People are cruel and the world is hostile. No one looks out for the common man. In fact, it's crabs. Crabs all the way down. Buckets. Buckets all the way down. And those that know do nothing to stop it

Everything is a disaster in slow motion. We all know where it's headed. All we can do is scream at the screen as those with the power cheerfully avoid every warning. Who will emerge from the wreckage?

Autism is: fine, common, normal
The problem is a world where only some brains are valuable/able to succeed.
If we are concerned about Autism as a "problem," there are real tangible things we could be doing to make the world better for everyone instead of pretending we can prevent neurodiversity.
