These patterns are probably the most basic I’ve seen in amigurumi in fifteen years. All this took three hours! Tomorrow I’ll sew the parts on and make some eyes, and we’ll have a new friend!

I’m pretty stoked about this book, too! There’s an axolotl in here that’s just too perfect! I’ve already got the materials and (hopefully!) enough of the perfect yarn!

I’ve crafted a solution! I’ll continue with this black yarn I had on hand, then “stripe” it with a mottled off-white or something as a flap and a button to fasten it shut! 😊
I’ve got stray yarn fuzz stuck to my tongue, though. Or perhaps it’s cat hair. I’m gross like that.
