It’s Friday and I just spent an entire afternoon playing the sims 4, I don’t have any friends to go out with, no one invites me to anything, no one even shoots me a message unless it’s for a project, so I make my sim so perfect with her toned muscles and good grades and insta-friendships——

I genuinely thought it was gonna be my big break, I dreamt about it, made plans about what to do in Leeds, I love Britain because the one year I spent there was the happiest in my entire fucking life… now that’s all down the drain and I’m stuck here, stuck here forever with no way out!

They said that Bluesky has a democratic algorithm but I still haven’t figured out what they meant, even on tumblr bots followed me, here when I post it’s like being invisible, just like my actual school, no one to talk to about anything, half of my class don’t know what the Middle Ages ARE.

Hey, it’s not as if anyone will see this anyways so I might as well as say it, I’m the sorta amateur who has nothing, no credentials, no big-name degree, nothing. I knew I had a snowball’s chance in hell of getting accepted but I wanted it so much, you know? I genuinely thought I had something cool.
