Just received a diagnosis, in July, that puts in this place as well. Although not an author, I’m a wellness coach (yoga + breathwork) and now my life is full of interruptions. Medical tests, mandatory pauses in workouts, whole new way of living. It’s a lot. Life is a practice in itself. Hugs!

Many people who have HH go undiagnosed until symptoms and organ damage is present. If you have high iron, high ferritin blood work & your doctor is not suggesting testing of it, be your own advocate and ask for genetic testing to determine if that could be responsible for your high numbers.
