And yup, as expected, the NYT and WaPo stories about the app going dark only mention that Congress passed and Biden signed a law. Zero mention of Trump's previous actions and comments to push for a ban, or of his cozying up to its leadership (and vice versa.)
We truly live in the dumbest timeline. And instead of media pointing out that Trump led the charge to ban the app before he flip-flopped, and his seemingly corrupt dealings with TikTok leaders, DC press will spin this as “Dems got played and Trump is brilliant.”
