Few thoughts:
1) Not about SNAP, benefits were going to be restored via lawsuits/states. This was about flights-corporations being affected.
2) Too convenient that the eight senators were handpicked because they are not at risk right now.
3) Democrats were given a mandate/winning & blew it again.

Yes. The Senators who voted for this are complicit. Their vote sustains a system that has already decided healthcare is a privilege, not a right.

They know full well that Republicans have no intention of funding the ACA or addressing the healthcare crisis — yet they chooses pretense over principle.

The Dem strategy seems to always be empty absurd theatrics followed by an eventual surrender for nothing. Was this about maintaining funding for Israel? That seems to be the only unshakeable position Dems stand for now.

If only there was a party standing up to him with more than rhetoric and acquiescence

Doesn’t matter now. The Schumer Senate caved. What will Dems really ever stand for? So sick of the hollow theatrics.

Was funding for Israel tied up in this somehow? That seems to be the only core concern of the Schumer Senate

We’re getting schumered again. More hollow theatrics leading to nothing but frustration and disappointment. Is funding for Israel tied up in this somehow? That’s all that seems to really matter with Dems.
