Exactly! Imagine what Beto could still be doing as the Rep for El Paso under this administration. He’d have a tremendous bully pulpit and organizing reach. (He was my congressman for a while and was VERY good and fast at helping his constituents.)

It’s depressing watching some Texas Dem get real traction and within a few years go tilting at whichever windmill is available that election. We can’t build a decent bench if everyone makes a play for Senate or Governor every damn time.

Israel has drones that use AI to determine the likelihood of a target being in a specific location based on previously collected intel. There’s several variants of it. I don’t remember exactly how much human agency comes into play when it’s time to pull the trigger.

I can see the calculations he had to make and it’s pretty disappointing even if it’s not surprising.

They’re all over a bunch of Gladio stuff too. Seymour Hersh can get out over his skis at times, but he’s reported on their alleged work with US special operations.
