Today is December 10th, which means it's the 16 year anniversary of the release of Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, the first volume in the Zero Escape series! This game has stuck with me like no other, and it's definitely my favorite game of all time!!! :D

And, unfortunately, with Itagaki's passic (and, tangentially, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa's), it's probably the biggest sign to call it quits and refocus priorities.

Harada retiring was something that's been a long time coming. Tekken 7 and 8 have pushed the franchise to levels previously unthinkable for the FGC. However, this also comes with added pressure.

Finally caught up on the adaptations of Vox Machina and Mighty Nein. LOVE both, but Mighty Nein just got me immediately. Love the darker tone and the balance with the entire cast

Most recent episode of Campaign 4 was fantastic. Easily one of my favourites so far. Less so due to the plot, and more due to genuinely tense combat and good strategy. There was a genuine audible gasp from me at one point (You'll immediately know which one).

Also, yes, I 100%ed the game. No, I don't have any desire do do New Game+ right away, nor do I intend to do it in Ultra Hard mode. It was a fun time, but it wasn't one that makes me want to keep going after finishing it. So, those 2 trophies will remain there for a while.

For the record, since I mentioned NieR, both Replicant and Automata are on my list of favourite games from the past 2 generations. Automata is one of very few games I've given a perfect 10, while Replicant waltzes on the line of a 9.5

Horizon Zero Dawn was fantastic. After the heavy disappointments I had with Death Stranding and Ghost of Tsushima, this hit the spot.

Seeing someone you considered a friend at one point just pretty much set themselves on fire on social media and refuse to listen to those trying to help or explain why that's a bad thing....yeah, this is just depressing.
