Why do companies try so hard to get you to come in to work when you’re sick?
It is irresponsible of me to not only expose my coworkers, but in my line of work, I must see the customers face to face in their own homes.

My wife is amazing. She literally takes care of me even if I don’t believe I deserve it.
She made me breakfast, made me coffee, bought me meds and cough drops (I caught her cold), AND added some Hershey’s Nuggets (my fave) so I could have a nice treat.
So blessed. 🥲

Work has been absolutely draining lately.
-I get shoo’d out the door when I’m “taking too long.”
-I seem to always take too long.
-I ask too many questions, but I am “no longer allowed to make decisions on my own; I MUST get permission for everything.”
I just can’t win. ☹️

I’ve just noticed, scrolling thru BlueSky, that I am not compelled to check the comments on every post, just waiting for all the keyboard warriors to show their hate. Now that’s refreshing.
