Reading the interviews of Gabriel García Márquez and this passage stands out to me, from the 1970s but relevant in this time, that in this era the fight must be for collective happiness, which as he astutely describes, is the only kind of just happiness
the symphony is recording their album this weekend and i just don’t know if brain-rotted post-covid audiences can do the quiet required, between phones ringing and constant coughing

i wrote a ten-minute play over three hours (plus the bits of dialogue i’d written on paper bags and sleepily in the notebook on my bed) for the class i’m taking and now i’m legitimately light-headed

digging out my old kindle to read plays on has been a godsend. ah, the olden days when tech just worked and made you believe things would keep getting better
November 17, 2025 at 2:39 AM
this is analogous to how tech ctos work: they could have a better product by focusing on better pay, more time off, cutting stress for workers; instead they will pay billions for ai crapware to feed the ego—helping a community and being loved will give similar or better life-lengthening benefits
if we tax them more, how will they pay for all the blood cleansing, cell rejuvenation, and transcranial magnetic stimulation they need? www.wsj.com/lifestyle/tr...

Buttigieg polled an impressive 0% with Black voters. Zero. Percent.

Do you know how kind and friendly Black voters are? Everyone gets like 3%, just for showing up! You have to work to go down from there!

It's 2025, And I still run into people that don't know why Black voters don't like Buttigieg.
This is a straightforward Republican attack line, what the fuck is he doing
