Final video for the night. Here's me checking off something I have always wanted to do. The C-45/Beech 18 is a gorgeous airplane. How it felt to get to sit where I sat in that bird would have made me cry if I could've stopped being so damn giddy. Thank you to the Central Texas Wing of the CAF!

Lil' Tuffy, a P-47 included in the Jugs Over Germany limited run, was my 3rd cousin's mount. My uncle is already working an RC version of the plane. I'd like to at least find the decal set so I can make a 1/48 version. I've included pics of the rc build as well as an info page on my cousin.

My grandfather at 15. That's an Aeronca Champ he's holding onto. He passed 5 years ago. He taught me to fly in a 1957 Tri-Pacer. Godspeed, Chief. I miss you every day.

Skyraider update. We're getting down to the fun stuff. Had an unfortunate accident with a decal that is going to become the starting point for this model's story. (I am not a scale modeler. I'm an impressionist modeler. All of my models tell a story based on how I see it, not on how things are.)

Thought I had a flat. I did not. What I had was three completely sheared lugs and two undamaged lugs with no lug nuts present, and one lug nut secured.
I think someone decided they needed lug nuts more than me. That hub probably needed replacing anyway.
