Culturally, very different, both rich sources of customs & traditions. Politically, Somali-born are mostly Muslim. Which makes them a hate target. There are 4 Muslims in Congress & now, Mamdani, a Mayor of NYC. No Hmong. The next day, after meeting Mamdani, Trump removes MN Somali protective status.
