Global trade has to be regulated so that local businesses, agriculture, & environment are protected. We only import what we don't make. Simple. Roadblocks? Authoritarian regimes, profit, greed..

NPR is still carrying water for whomever advices them to do so. They still call the genocide a war.
By doing it, this media, with the largest reach in the US, tells its citizens that the international law does not matter, that the conclusion of thousands of law scholars is worthless.

I understand & I agree. We also need to, not just UK but the US as well, rise above political barriers, propaganda & red-scare & do business w/ the whole world. That's how we expand democracy, not by bombing. If you think trade w/ EU is good, think how good it would be w/ the whole world.

An extremely rough day for Edgewater in Chicago. ICE activity near schools. People kidnapped while working in yards, standing on hiring corners. So many rapid responders biking, walking, driving, whistles around necks, trying to protect their neighbors, but up against such well-funded forces.
