That decision may be the most confusing.

Kyle Schwarber and Javy Baez homered today for teams other than the Cubs.

The Cubs have not scored 5 runs in a post season game since 2017.

Kyle Schwarber has tied Bernie Williams for third in MLB history with 22 career postseason home runs. Only trails Manny Ramirez (29) and Jose Altuve (27).

He's also moved one home run ahead of Bryce Harper for the all-time Phillies' playoff lead with 13.

At some point in all the moves I lost both my horns down hat and my Josh Heupel jersey. I’ll be looking for those things until the day I die. Boomer.

Keller looks as confused as anyone as to why he’s out there right now.

Does anyone on the Cubs have a strikeout pitch?

Wasn’t a perfect bunt by PCA, but it took a perfect play to get him out.

Matty ICE with his first K of the game.

This inning had the full PCA offensive showcase. A big basehit, the. His speed on the bases force the opponent into mistakes. That’s where he can be special.

Sure the sun goes away for Suzuki’s ball…

I get the rule. A player doesn’t need to be camped under it, just has to be reasonably able to camp under it. And I know an ump has to actually see the ball to know if that’s possible. But literally one of the umps needs to track that ball. It’s inexcusable on their part that none of them saw it.

Kyle Tucker showing bunt to start the at bat says about everything about how things are going.
thele.bsky.social
It’s absolutely inexcusable, regardless of circumstances, for all of the umpires on the field to fail to call an infield fly.
thele.bsky.social
A group of MLB umpires just failed to call an infield fly on a ball that landed on the infield grass because no one could see it in the sun. And that was a good enough excuse.

Whenever you're getting a post up, it's important to find a picture that matches the energy of what was written. Everything involving Kash Patel ends up with a photo of him looking like he's in an "In Over Your Head" comedy. Which always matches the article perfectly.

Breaking news: Nearly a quarter of FBI agents across the country are currently reassigned to immigration enforcement.

The large number of reassignments reflect a vast reshaping of the agency and could put other priorities at risk.
A quarter of FBI agents are assigned to immigration enforcement, per FBI data
Nearly a quarter of FBI agents are currently reassigned to immigration enforcement, with the number climbing above 40 percent in the bureau’s largest field offices.

Got my covid shot yesterday from Walgreens. They needed to ask which pre-existing condition I had to require the shot (Indiana law). I said I was overweight, kept anxiety in the back pocket just in case. The look the pharmacy tech game me was amazing. Call me on it, I dare you.

This was a big reason I was pulling for the Jays tonight.

This is what a postseason home run is supposed to feel like. My god, this was straight out of The Natural.

Aaron Judge hits a 3 run HR off the fair pole to tie it

I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.

Going to start calling Shaw Matty ICE from now on

“Only a four run deficit!”

Sir, have you watched the Cubs since the start of August?
thele.bsky.social
Whole lot of inconsistencies in balls and strikes right now.
thele.bsky.social
Man, PCA almost caught that one…
thele.bsky.social
The vibes around the Cubs are just so bad. When they were tied, it felt like they were down 5. This may as well be slaughter rule.

Honestly Sister Act and Houseguest were the first movies that came to mind.

“Guy running away from something bad he did and hiding, only to become the best representative of his new place” is like half of the movies made in the 90s
