I get the rule. A player doesn’t need to be camped under it, just has to be reasonably able to camp under it. And I know an ump has to actually see the ball to know if that’s possible. But literally one of the umps needs to track that ball. It’s inexcusable on their part that none of them saw it.

It’s absolutely inexcusable, regardless of circumstances, for all of the umpires on the field to fail to call an infield fly.

A group of MLB umpires just failed to call an infield fly on a ball that landed on the infield grass because no one could see it in the sun. And that was a good enough excuse.

Got my covid shot yesterday from Walgreens. They needed to ask which pre-existing condition I had to require the shot (Indiana law). I said I was overweight, kept anxiety in the back pocket just in case. The look the pharmacy tech game me was amazing. Call me on it, I dare you.
