Well in light of news that we'll have to be reincarnated at least twice to play Elder Scrolls VI, let's talk about another cool open world RPG, Kenshi.
Released in 2018 after a 12 year development cycle by a 3-person team, it's a unique spin in that it works in elements of real time strategy.

I played the first episode of Tales from the Borderlands earlier and I thought it was alright, some chuckle-worthy moments, I like the calm nature of the game, there isn't a lot going on and the gameplay isn't very demanding or difficult.
I don't own the full game, not sure I'd like to continue it.
