i feel like Horrible Histories the childrens show I grew up watching was mildly pro-Cavalier unintentionally just through the framing of them as cool people who party and the roundheads as boring politicians. but thats just from memory

Wrote a quick biographical article on incumbent Ngāti Kahungunu chair Bayden Barber for #Wikipedia this evening. Gonna expand further tmmr as there are more sources.

Luckily, the NZ GG happened to take a photo with him in February so we have a good PD photo

Akld elections should be seen as nationally important, over 1/3 of the country lives there. For that to happen it needs proper westminster-style democracy imo

still barebones, mainly just removed unsourced stuff and added info on the chairpersons. copyedited it to make it more readable

redirected the stub article on Te Arataura into the main article
