Ahh, thanks for clarifying - I read PC as meaning the player 😅

Mel definitely lacks agency, but imo it makes sense with the story? She's inherited a war, she's fighting time itself. She's stuck in the same loops as the player. But I haven't seen the end so I don't know if it pays off like H1 did

I'd say it's on par with the Hades I story, at least in terms of agency? It's not really a story that calls for player agency - it's not an RPG. I haven't seen endgame story content yet but I've got 50 hours in it over the early access period and I've enjoyed it
