It also reminds me of when Spielberg was told Jaws was gonna ruin him, but it became the Highest Grossing Film ever. And when he was snubbed for Best Director, he said, "Everybody loves a winner, but nobody Likes the winner".

Same with the internet going from "We want Original Movies" and hating Elio or Marcel the Shell. Or the manufacturered mcu hate in the past 3 years. The internet just loves a pariah.
