This is from the legacy S1 module in June 2018, syllabus 4766, which is no longer examined.
The syllabus says this, on page 149, showing the (n - 1) divisor

Excellent exhibition at Japan House in Kensington. Big queue this afternoon to see hundreds of objects from over 100 Japanese makers. Lots of beautiful pieces and a great atmosphere. Open until May, do visit!
