Tonight I learned that one of my heroes has died. I loved her and colleagues' "adventures" as a child and grew up to admire her scientific work for so many reasons. RIP Jane Goodall.

In my comment I suggested a kind of Nominal Voidance, ideonomically.

If the LLM is only able to syntactically and epistomologically interact with the concepts it uses to generate responses, then id think "novel" ideas (to the operator) might have something to do with idea density.
When I come up with an idea that doesn’t exist in LLM training data (to any extent that I can find), LLMs have no trouble understanding it, extrapolating from it, and explaining it back to me. But I haven’t yet been able to prompt an LLM to generate similar ideas on their own. This is weird
