Finally reading Oathbound by Tracy Deonn & yes, I AM very much enjoying it now as an adult but if this had been around when I was like 14/15… words can’t describe how obsessed w Selwyn I would have been. God himself couldn’t have stopped the self insert fic I would have written, unhinged shit.

The adjustment to living by myself has had its ups and downs but the biggest up is being able to make whatever I want for dinner, like check out my sick kimchi fried rice!

Despite keeping the high value treats for big rewards, His Grace is sulking coz I trimmed is sharp SHARP claws. Maybe if he used his MULTIPLE scratching posts more I wouldn’t have to trim them with the scary clipper

Yes, I believed Naomi King. Yes, having seen the 2nd video + Daniel Greene’s response it is clear I was wrong and I acknowledge that. It is important to adjust with information. Being a cheater & bad partner isn’t a crime & King should not have brought this to the public. King’s latest isn’t proof

Finally admitting it’s been too long since I read a book that I can’t read the sequel. Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse is just too good at seeding in book 1 and I wanna appreciate the payoff so now to decide if I’m gonna do a two step re-read or pick something else and come back to them

I didn’t realise that when I picked the sword in the Awakening that Sora wouldn’t get Leaf Bracer til level 69…. So now I gotta do ANOTHER world tour before the Ansem fight coz this bitch needs help healing.

I also finally finished The Green Bone saga by Fonda Lee and god I just wanna play a ttrpg based o. It so bad. That would be the most perfect setting for a campaign, playing as new green bones making their way in the No Peak clan. Earning jade and getting caught in the clan machinations.

The one thing I’ve learned to appreciate in my area to education is the value of “sky is blue” research & not assuming people were taught the fundamentals, coz you never know who needed to hear it. There’s no benefit to excluding ppl from important conversations just because they missed some steps
imo the important thing is speaking when you feel you have something worth saying, the metadiscussion of "should people already know this" I think is just quite patronising and pointless in a landscape where people come from a wide array of different levels of education and experience
I mean, overall i thought he made some good points, it wasn't so much about not pointing out things that are bad but more about not pointing things out that everybody should already know or reacting to things designed to cause backlash, basically don't fall for the saying any press is good press
