Redoing my budget because I just checked and my health insurance seems to have gone up by more than they originally told me when I renewed... woof. The only reason I checked was I just got a 'we know your premium has increased but don't panic' email from them just now and I thought wait... again?

The first Peter Jackson film I ever saw was Meet the Feebles. On VHS. In a share house in Canberra, early 90s, between college end/work life begin. 3 of us watching on mismatched couches drinking (prob. Jim Beam out of old jam jars?), eyes glued to the screen. Saying WTF!? at the same time.

The thing about having had melanoma is that every time you go for the 3-6 month skin check, if there's a mole that even looks at your dermatologist sideways, that little shit of a thing is yeeted out the room. And now I can't ride my bike or paddle for 3 days til the hole heals. Small sacrifice.
