Sorry to anyone who likes the new song but I've loathed it from day one, especially how the footage on the tron is them with some of their worst facial hair. It's an era I'd rather forget but they keep making me look at it when they come out to wrestle.

But I can definitely see why, with all their careers winding down and Kenny's health struggles and Ibushi's injury, they might want to rush ahead to the good part. I dunno, I just worry.

Anyway the fakeout at the end of BTE this week rubbed me the wrong way because I really don't want these last two years to be dismissed as water under the bridge. That shit happened and it was awful and I really hope we're not just gonna sweep it under the rug.

At least now we have BTE back. I think the heel turn really suffered 1 from Kenny's health getting worse and 2 from the lack of BTE providing more context to everyone's choices and behavior.

And I know that the Massies and Tyson Smith have proven many times in the past that they know how to tell a complex and emotionally satisfying story. But the heel turn itself back in 2023 felt so abrupt and so much of it didn't make sense, I'm a little nervous.

And I don't think Kenny needs similar or any punishment. His health issues and the time he's lost to recovery feel like more than enough to atone for all three of them. I just want him to acknowledge that he had a hand in what happened. That when they had no one else he made a selfish choice.

Turning his back on them when they already felt so alone and under attack, when he knows them better than anyone, when they actually did the work of telling him outright that they needed him and that he was hurting them.

No, the Bucks weren't justified in where they took it, they very definitely went way too far and they deserved every bit of punishment they got if not more. But Kenny was such an asshole to them beforehand.

His manufactured reality is shattering around him and his real self is slipping in through the cracks. Plus it's just nice to see him having fun again.
