At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the guns fell silent on the western front, for the first time in four years. This brought an end to the Great War, the "war to end all wars". Thank you to everyone who stood, everyone who served, and those who continue to do so.

Well, as promised, my 269th was epic. Thanks to Willie for funding the endeavor. Some of what happened at my party *stays* at my birthday, but I think I can share these.

Thanks to those of you who agreed to share either personal images or OC characters. Love you guys.
ALF's birthday party starts out on the water, with a nice swim for those interested. @replicatorunit.bsky.social, @rockinriker.bsky.social, and @entspockhere.bsky.social stayed aboard, but serenated everyone with music. @raptorinblack.bsky.social, @ltcdr-jamie-gates.bsky.social, and @scougs.bsky.social played some ball. Also seen is @latinumstomach.bsky.social, @constableodo.bsky.social and @quark-rp.bsky.social (or maybe @quarkco.bsky.social, or another Quark) - can Quark not swim? - @cousinnudaq.bsky.social, @lots42.bsky.social, @davidryan.bsky.social, and @peteyj.bsky.social (by request). The background pic was found on a Google search and I believe it's unlicensed. A late afternoon sail on a yacht, named Siren, which Google tells me is available for charter, and indeed was chartered courtesy of Willie's credit card. Willie doesn't look properly enthused. I don't know why. Most folks getting ready for the ball, but we can see @captainjellico.bsky.social seated to the right, and there's @ltcdr-jamie-gates.bsky.social seated on the far left. That's @scougs.bsky.social just in front of her. Chicky (@raptorinblack.bsky.social) and Reppy (@replicatorunit.bsky.social) can be spotted above. I see McCoy (I follow a few) and Spock again behind the bar, with his Spock Hat (@entspockhere.bsky.social). Ah, the grand ball, in honor of ALF himself. Everyone looking nice. It started around seven, and ended about seven ten when Gowrix learned of it and crashed the party. Oh well. We got, far left, @josefbajor.bsky.social, here with his sister at far right, @jojo-bajor.bsky.social, both looking elegant in purple. @annoyedobrien.bsky.social makes a natty appearance, as does Patrick Stewart, next to Josi. Behind the table is David Ryan again, seated (@ryangenealogy.bsky.social) and also Rook Saproling, snacking (@tcolahan.bsky.social). Dark Helmet is looking respectable (@darkhelmetsb.bsky.social) and there's Data, dressed up too. The background pic of a gold and white decorated party room is a Google find and believed to be unlicensed, as it can be found multiple places online. OK, everyone's let loose now. We're in a sort of a disco. This background pic was found at pngtree.com. I set a table up in front, with a black tablecloth, and a couple of cakes are set on it. Behind it, from left to right, we see ALF, Coach (@coachgowron.com), looking eager to carve, Kara Amens (@karads9.bsky.social) and Rioko (@thespacefox.bsky.social - used with permission). Amens and Rioko seem to be checking out the sweets. Chicky (@raptorinblack.bsky.social) is at left, ready to enter the dance floor. Scougs (@scougs.bsky.social) is already out there, as is Rom (@nolobesforbusiness.bsky.social). Reppy (@replicatorunit.bsky.social) is behind them.
