In effect it means half of our electorate will have to actively unite for change. Maybe that's why the oligarchs focus so much on dividing us and turning us against one another.

Is it willful ignorance; indifference? For many, I suspect the cascade of outrages since the sham came down the escalator leaves us shaking our heads. So we will donate & campaign to flip the House & Senate, we will help secure polling places and in this way, we will begin to end his manic reign.

How big is this cult? Polling and Nielsen ratings of Fox News suggest it's 39% of us, and they sure do seem to grab our attention. The outrages unsettle us for an hour or a day until the next one appalls us, but surely if 61% of us are prepared to vote this guy out, our plan must be to organize.

Good point. You posted it here and it's still up. We at bluesky seem to be a community focused on critical thinking as opposed to that other place where sniping is lauded.

Stress over finances literally shortens lives. And if not for the machinations of those whose wealth defines our world, we as a wealthy nation could be what a family is - cooperatively nurtured.

Wage theft and worker misclassification (classifying hourly workers as exempt from labor standards including overtime pay rules) now increasing due to deportations of those previously granted work permits. More people driven into the shadows to avoid deportation, more people subject to the above.

Mr. Elias, with those state voter rolls, is it possible/is it likely the DOJ would contact blue voters en masse prior to the elections to challenge or misinform them about their eligibility or in some way make it more onerous to maintain their registration status?

It seems to me we might be welcoming the stranger, feeding the hungry, freeing the oppressed but for the alternate scripture from those who use our disdain to their benefit. The clearest if not only example of this is Fox News.
