Split Second is the weakest of this bunch - low budget 90s action that would fall apart without Rutger

All belters this week. Two horrors (one old, one new), the Floyd at their peak plus Nic Cage and Dennis Hopper doing what they do best

Feeling tired tonight, thought I’d watch a film and drift off to sleep. This was definitely the wrong choice…

As the richest guy in the world, Musk could leave one hell of a legacy. He could solve world hunger or build Carnegie-like centres of knowledge. Be the kinda guy whose name lives on for all the right reasons

Instead he's chosen to stoke race hate, wreck twitter and appoint himself Wanker of the Age

the ending of THE GODFATHER, the best american movie ever made, doesn't work without diane keaton's final look --- at the realization of who she's married and what her life is going to become and what corruption lurks behind closed doors. unforgettable, inimitable work. RIP.

Ava was a complete disappointment. How do you make a film about a assassin so boring? And why squander such an amazing cast? 😩

The moment I saw that "trans bra" M & S story I sensed it was nonsense.

Seconds later, having read the Telegraph piece I knew it was worse than that. It was deliberate hate mongering completely devoid of evidence, names and facts.

Superb job of debunking it here

Never seen Murder By Decree until now - the film’s ok but Plummer is amazing (and makes his way into my top three favourite Sherlocks)

Can we all just take a moment, a deep breath, and gaze in awe at Mike McMahon's jaw-dropping work on "Slaine"? Nothing else quite like it. It's like some ancient artwork, found carved into wood. Or daubed on stone somewhere. It's just... incredible. Some of my favourite comic art by anyone.

Why is it that whenever governments take money from the poor it is incentivising them to work and taking money from the rich is a burden on industry?

Fuck this shit let’s incentivise the rich!
